The decades-old youth organization has hired a law firm to look into Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, according to the Wall Street Journal.
  • Federal judge rules Obamacare unconstitutional — A federal judge in Texas on Friday ruled the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, was unconstitutional based on its mandate requiring that people buy health insurance, a decision in a case that could reach the U.S. Supreme Court.
  • Father Of Guatemalan Girl Hires Lawyers — The father of Jakelin Caal, who died in United States Customs and Border Protection custody, has reportedly hired a pair of attorneys and is challenging the Department of Homeland Security's claims of how his daughter died.
  • Government Shutdown: Definition, Explained, Effect — A government shutdown is when non-essential discretionary federal programs close. The president must do this when Congress fails to appropriate funds. In the normal budget process, Congress appropriates funds by September 30 for the following fiscal year. When that doesn't happen, then Congress enacts a continuing funding resolution.
